Gen AI Developer/Prompt Engineer (Local to Washington, DC) – W2 Role, NO C2C

We are hiring a Gen AI Developer / Prompt Engineer to support the delivery of various Generative AI use cases. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in AI system architecture and hands-on experience with Azure-based AI tools.

Location: Washington, DC 20433(Local)
W2 Role, No C2C
Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days onsite per week from Day1.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize prompts, pipelines, and models to solve diverse business problems (e.g., summarization, generation, classification, Q&A, RAG).
• Architect and implement scalable and secure data science systems on Azure AI/ML Services.
• Design and implement GenAI-based solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI and Azure Cognitive Services (e.g., Vision, Search, Speech, Language).
• Build integration pipelines between AI models and enterprise systems using Python and Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, etc.).
• Evaluate and fine-tune foundation models using prompt engineering, PEFT/LoRA, and embedding models.
• Ensure ethical AI use, model explainability, and performance monitoring using tools like MLFlow, Azure ML, and monitoring dashboards.
